A client from Saint John Evangelist Church contacted me to create a modern, versatile cemetery map to replace their outdated, handwritten version used for record-keeping. The cemetery, established in the 1800s, is the final resting place of many loved ones. Due to its age and historical significance, it was essential to approach the project with accuracy, respect, and attention to detail. My process began with digitizing the existing records and meet my client regularly to ensure names and plot placements were correctly represented. Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed a clean, organized map that clearly identifies burial plots while remaining flexible for future updates.
